Storage and Removal Terms
As a benefit of purchasing from HGR Industrial Surplus, LLC (“HGR”) we offer up to forty-five (45) calendar days of free storage. You shall remove all equipment purchased from HGR no later than forty-five (45) calendar days after (a) date of invoice for domestic customers or (b) after finalization of all export control and licensing requirements for international customers. All equipment that has not been removed within this time will incur storage fees or be deemed abandoned as set forth below.
If you need a storage solution beyond forty-five (45) days, HGR may be able to offer either month-to-month storage or 50/50 consignment. Contact your sales representative for a form.
HGR storage fees are outlined in the table below:
|48" x 40" (or less)
|$100 per month
20" x 8" or less
20,000 lbs. (or less)
|$200 per month
40" x 8" (or less)
40,000 lbs. (or less)
|$300 per month
|Equipment weighing more than 40,000 lbs. will result in additional storage charges.
Billing of Storage
Storage fees will be billed on the 15th of the month for the upcoming month’s storage. If items are picked up prior to the 1st, the order will be canceled. If items remain, the storage fee is due on the 1st of the month.
If payment isn’t received on or before the 1st of the month, storage is considered late and will be assessed a late fee of $50 or 10% of the total storage fee, whichever is greater, no exceptions.
Payment for Storage
For customers in USA, Canada, and Mexico, we will provide a Storage Payment Authorization Form that is required to be filled out for automatic payment. Customers are required to set up either a credit card or e-check for automatic deduction each month.
HGR Industrial Surplus will process the payment for storage on the 1st of the month or the business day prior to the 1st if the first falls on a weekend or holiday.
The customer is solely responsible to ensure correct contact and billing information has been provided to HGR.
For customers in all other locations where automatic billing isn’t available, the customer is responsible for meeting the payment terms on storage as listed above. To help reduce costs, customers may send multiple months at once or send extra funds to leave on account to be applied to future storage or product orders.
HGR Industrial Surplus will not release items that have an unpaid storage balance.
HGR Industrial Surplus offers 50/50 consignment for prior purchases that haven’t been picked up yet. If you would like to use this option, please contact your sales representative for a form. Completed consignment forms must be returned prior to incurring any payment obligations for storage, items being considered abandoned, and/or repossessed.
If storage was offered, domestic customers are limited to a maximum of 6 months from date of invoice. International customers are limited to a maximum of 12 months from date of invoice. Items must be picked up or put on consignment prior to time limits. Items remaining after term limits are considered abandoned.
Unless otherwise stated in a purchase agreement or storage agreement with HGR, your failure to claim and remove equipment within ninety (90) calendar days after date of invoice or finalization of all export control and licensing requirements (as applicable) is deemed to be evidence of your intention to abandon the equipment, and HGR on behalf of itself and/or a Seller may take action that is adverse to your interest in the equipment, including, but not limited to, any appropriate steps under the law to dispose of the equipment. Specifically, HGR will offer a 50/50 consignment on the equipment. All storage fees and other ancillary costs incurred by HGR on the equipment will be deducted from the Buyer’s account. Any remaining funds will be provided to Buyer, if applicable. You will forfeit all rights to the equipment and have no recourse against HGR or any of our equipment sellers in the future.
