Overview

The Marketing Department at HGR Industrial Surplus is responsible for maintaining the company’s website, managing e-mail marketing campaigns, engaging customers and prospective customers via social media, coordinating community and public relations to project a positive image of HGR while giving back to the community, and generating and curating content to meet these objectives.

A core responsibility of the Marketing Department at HGR Industrial Surplus is to engage, interact with, and get to know customers and other stakeholders. This information is fed back to the company’s management to inform decision making. Key functional roles for the marketing department include: content writing, graphic design, photography, videography, video production, social media management, public relations, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), e-mail marketing, community relations, and strategic marketing management.

Team Standards

All marketing staff will be required to actively participate in the success of the department by exemplifying HGR’s core values,  conducting their duties with professionalism toward co-workers, customers and vendors, and treating one another with respect.
