Overview
The HGR Receiving Department is the first operational department to handle merchandise. The HGR Receiving Department is a fast-paced environment that, at times, works with close to 20 incoming trucks per day. The department operates on two shifts to accommodate the high volume of incoming freight and processes and inventories an average of 2,000 items per week. Strong organizational skills are required to maintain departmental efficiency. The receiving department unloads trucks, preps, sorts, displays, inventories, distributes and stores incoming merchandise.
Our operators are trained to be skilled on propane forklifts that range from 6,000 pounds to 30,000 pounds.

All receiving staff will be required to actively participate in the success of the department by exemplifying HGR’s core values, conducting their duties with professionalism toward co-workers, customers and vendors, and treating one another with respect.
