The Rotary Club of Cleveland held their 24th Annual Business Leadership Awards meeting. This year’s meeting was held online May 21, 2020 amid current safety precautions. The Business Leadership Awards were founded in 1997 by a former members of the Rotary Club of Cleveland, Robert L.Minter, and William A. Nite III. This year, the awards were co-sponsored by Cleveland State’s Monte Ahuja College of Business and MAGNET.
At the awards, HGR was awarded the Quality Service Leadership Award for meeting the criteria set forth by MAGNET. One of the factors they considered was the planning process the company used to achieve a continuous effort to satisfy customers needs. They also looked at the process that company used to determine requirements and expectations of customers based on feedback. MAGNET: The Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network was founded in 1984 and is an organization dedicated to helping manufacturers grow and compete in Northeast Ohio. Some of the other factors that went into this award were how the company selected and managed information to support key processes to improve company performance.

HGR is proud to accept this award and will continue to strive to do what it can to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers. In effort to do so, HGR has undergone major construction to the sales office over the past two years, and is currently undergoing a change to the front entrance. This change should help direct the flow of foot and vehicle traffic safety, and improve upon the appearance of the building facing Euclid Avenue. Currently HGR is open to the public but does have some precautionary measures listed on the site to ensure that everyone’s safety is the number one concern above all. HGR has 12 acres of industrial machinery and surplus supplies. There are hundreds of new arrivals daily so you never know what you will find from day to day.
